Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)

Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI) is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes. CMMI helps integrate traditionally separate organizational functions, set process improvement goals and priorities, provide guidance for quality processes, and provide a point of reference for appraising current processes.

Many organisations find value in measuring their progress by conducting an appraisal and earning a maturity level rating. These appraisals help determine how well the organisation's processes are compared to the CMMI best practices.

Byte Craft was appraised and was awarded the SEI CMMI Level 2 rating for software engineering.
